Meet the 21 years Old Nigerian who made millions by just playing Video games

Before reading, I would like to give everyone a moment to call their parents and tell them that those things they usually term as "waste of time" CAN actually fetch you MILLIONS!

The first time I met Olajide was on Youtube (duh) – back then I thought his FIFA commentaries were hilarious, I couldn’t help watching all of his videos on Youtube. Now Olajide Olatunji a British-born Nigerian also known as KSI, is a millionaire with his own penthouse apartment in London and he got it all from playing video games (Especially FIFA) in his bedroom.

According to Wikipedia, Olajide “JJ” Olatunji, better known by his YouTube username Ksiolajidebt, is an English YouTuber, video game commentator, comedian and rapper. He is also referred to as simply KSI.

Recently, In a new documentary series on e-sports, Vice reporter Matt Shea met with the young millionaire at his home. He had this to say"

“Essentially, I’m a 21-year-old who’s a millionaire through gaming, blogging, and my online experience,” KSI says on camera. “Yo, I’ll take it!”

He stopped making videos at first in 2006 when his account got banned for uploading family guy on youtube. It was only in 2010 that he started making videos again.

He loved FIFA, and He loved doing skills (I mean really really really loved doing skills), which He thought was cool enough to show people on the Internet – and that was when it all started. His breakthrough with commentary came from him complaining about how slow defenders were in FIFA 11 and obliterating the FIFA 12 trailer to shreds with his sarcasm – now his videos have millions of views.

Crisis brewing in the South East as Niger Delta militant group burst pipeline in Delta State

An Urhobo militant group, Urhobo Gbagbako, on Friday claimed responsibility for Thursday night’s bombing of the NPDC Oil pipelines at Ighrenene, Afiesere and Ekiugbo communities in Delta State.

The group, which made the claims in an email sent to some reporters, said it is also planning to shut down all the oil fields in Urhobo and Isoko areas.

The email signed by the group’s s spokesperson, Priest Omodjuvwu, said the bombing of the Ekiugbo/Ighrenene/ Afiesere was to draw attention to the neglect of ex-militants of Urhobo extraction.

It said the Urhobo had been
        sidelined in the pipelines
        protection contracts
        offered to ex-militants from
        other ethnic groups by
       President Goodluck Jonathan
and they now want to show
that they too had the capacity
       to cause trouble if ignored.

The group said it had sent warning signals to the NPDC and the federal government on the pipeline surveillance contracts, which had excluded the Urhobo.

Urhobo Gbagbako however dissociated itself from media reports about a 14-day ultimatum given to the federal government and NPDC on the oil pipeline surveillance contracts.

“We have now resumed attack on the NPDC pipeline facilities on a massive scale, which scale of bombings shall be unprecedented,” the email said.

The group said the attacks will continue until the Urhobo got what rightly belonged to them. #disgrace

President Jonathan & his family are gradually moving their personal effects from Aso Rock

According to a report by Punch, President Jonathan and his family members have started moving their personal
belongings out of the Presidential Villa in Abuja. A Punch reporter said he saw some buses loaded with travel bags moving out of the President’s official residence yesterday afternoon Friday April 3rd.

It is believed that the president and his family will return to Otuoke, Bayelsa, once his tenure ends on May 29th.

Reports also surfaced that the reason for the early removal of personal belongings of the First Family is to allow for
renovation work of the residence to commence before Buhari comes into power in May.

Buhari is not worth Celebrating yet- Etcetera writes

This is Another article written by singer turned writer, Etcetera. Read below...

Why are we dancing? Why do we keep rolling out the drums each time we have a new government, only for us to start crying few months down the line? Is it that we are too quick to forget or we just love to dance? Do you celebrate a child who’s about to write his exams or the one who has written and passed? What is this jubilation for? Because I really don’t understand. Is it that the election of Buhari in itself has suddenly alleviated our sufferings? I am really confused here, hearing how six bikers lost their lives in Zaria celebrating Buhari’s victory. One would think that a people who have been shortchanged for so long by past presidents will know better to be calm and take every word of the new president with a pinch of salt until he proves to be different.

This process is becoming an unending circle, again and again we’ve danced and again and again, we’ve cursed and cried at the end. It is still shocking to me that a lot of Nigerians fell for the story that the president was born without shoes. Was anyone born with shoes on? Buhari’s triumphant entry into the presidency last Sunday which coincidentally was a palm Sunday doesn’t yet prove he is the redeemer. Just like the second coming of our supposed political messiah Obasanjo didn’t prove any significant improvement in our lives.

We all thought he was the one anointed by the gods to take us by the hands and lead us right straight into the promised land, where we shall have no more gnashing of teeth. But when he left office, the roads were still as bad as they were before he took office. The hospitals were still without facilities and most importantly, he failed to defeat the demon in the power sector even with billions of dollars thrown at it. The demons in the same power sector have claimed Jonathan just like they did Yar’Adua, Abdulsalami Abubakar, Sanni Abacha, Shonekan, IBB and Shagari. Even Buhari himself had already been defeated by this demon before. So what says it is not going to be the same this time around. Remember obasanjo was defeated twice by this same demon.

Why won’t our leaders take us for granted when they’ve noticed that we are always ready to jump to our feet and “judile” with the announcement of every new regime? When Buhari overthrew the democratically elected government of Shehu Shagari in 1983, many of you reading this took to the streets to boogie down. When Babangida sent Buhari packing a couple of months later, a lot more of you got drunk and vomited all over the place. Even Abacha’s sudden death brought smiles on the faces of most bar owners across the country as they ran out of booze. Is something wrong with us as a people? We are forgetting a very important fact that this election proves that we are and will still remain a divided people. We are divided by our ideologies with no realistic integration in sight. The election has also reinforced the thinking that we are divided by regional, tribal and religious interests and not national. These are some of the significant issues that will define our tomorrow.

Finally, some of you who are reading this may be saying, oh Etcetera, can’t you be optimistic for once? My brother, I can’t. Optimism and its younger brother, hope have proven to be very dangerous especially in Nigeria. They have sent millions of Nigerians to their early graves. What is the point of being optimistic in a system that has always left me in tears and heartache? Or is it till I get arrested by Mr Cardiac? Tufiakwa!

I'm not planning to host Aisha Buhari- Bola Shagaya

There have been news circulating in the media about Nigerian billionaire businesswoman, Bola Shagaya, that she is nursing plans to host Aisha, the wife of President-Elect, Muhammadu Buhari, to a lavish dinner.

In a statement released on Friday evening and signed by her aide, Deji Adeyanju, Shagaya said the story is “totally untrue and a fabrication.”

Read Shagaya’s the full statement below:

Our attention has been drawn to a false and misleading story on the social media that Hajia Bola Shagaya is planning to host a dinner party in honour of Mrs. Aishat Buhari, wife of the winner of the March 28, 2015, Presidential Election (General Muhammadu Buhari). While we hold Mrs. Buhari in high esteem and commend the victory of Gen. Muhammadu Buhari at the poll, we wish to make it categorically clear for the records that this story is totally untrue & a fabrication. Hajia Bola Shagaya has no such plans or has she ever told anyone of such a plan to host Mrs. Buhari. It is purely mischief aimed at misleading Nigerians and disparaging her good name.

This rumour making the rounds on cyberspace has no iota of truth whatsoever and Hajia Bola Shagaya wishes to draw the attention of Nigerians to this. Hajia Bola Shagaya remains a very close confidant and friend of our amiable First Lady Dr. Dame Patience Jonathan and will continue to offer her invaluable contribution to the nation and always. We are also very proud of the heroic act of President Goodluck Jonathan making a great sacrifice to keep the peace of this nation. We urge all Nigerians and all right thinking people to completely disregard such stories.

It is false, and conjured out of envy.
You will recall that this rumour was attributed to the London chapter of All Progressives Congress to perfect this falsehood. All discerning Nigerians can understand why they planted such a story and the mischief behind it. We urge those behind it to desist forthwith.

We thank all concerned Nigerians who reached out to us to find out the truth. May God continue to bless you and the Federal Republic of NIGERIA.

TOP POST: 10 Shocking but true facts about Sex

(1). Everyone at my school is having sex.

FALSE. The average age when people start having sex is 17. And even once people start having sex, most teens don't have sex very often. In fact, 30 percent of people haven't had sex by the time they turn 20. So it's normal to wait until you're older to have sex.

(2).You can't get pregnant the first time you have sex.

FALSE. You can get pregnant anytime you have vaginal (penis-in-vagina) sex. If you're having sex without birth control, you can get pregnant — whether it's the first time or the 100th time. It's even possible for to get pregnant before you have your first period. Bottom line: if you're going to have vaginal sex, use birth control to prevent pregnancy.

(3). You can't get pregnant during your period.

FALSE. It's not super common, but it's possible to get pregnant from sex you had during your period. This is because sperm can hang out in your reproductive organs for SIX whole days, waiting for one of your eggs to come out.

(4). You can't get pregnant if you have sex in the water.

FALSE. Lots of babies have been made in pools and hot tubs. You get zero protection from pregnancy by having sex in a pool, bath, or shower. That's because the sperm are still getting in the vagina during vaginal (penis-in-vagina) sex.
HOWEVER, sometimes people are scared of getting pregnant from swimming in a pool that a guy has ejaculated in.That's not going to happen. Sperm can't do the backstroke through the pool water, into a vagina, and cause a pregnancy. So if a guy cums/ejaculates near but not on or in a girl in water, she won't get pregnant.

(5). Douching after sex prevents pregnancy.

FALSE. Squirting water, soda, vinegar or anything else up your vagina after sex won't prevent pregnancy ... but it could give you an infection. The only thing that will prevent pregnancy is using birth control every time you have vaginal (penis-in-vagina) sex.

(6).Birth control doesn't really work.

FALSE. When used correctly, lots of birth control methods are super effective — like, more than 99 percent effective —at preventing pregnancy. But if you don't use birth control correctly, it doesn't work as well.
Some methods, like the IUD and implant] are easy to use correctly — they're placed in your body and do their thing without the chance that you could mess it up. Other methods, like the pill, are a little harder because you have to remember to take it every day, try not to miss any pills, and keep getting your new packs on time. If you miss pills, you're at risk for pregnancy.
Condoms are 98 percent effective at preventing pregnancy when used correctly. And condoms are also the best way to avoid STDs. But you have to put the condom on before you start having sex, and keep it on the entire time you're having sex. While condoms can break, this usually happens because they're used wrong. Using extra lubricant with a condom helps keep it from breaking.
The best thing to do is to use both a condom and another birth control method.

(7). You can't get STDs from oral sex.

FALSE. While most STDs are spread through vaginal (penis-in-vagina) and anal (penis-in-anus) sex, unprotected oral sex can also put you at risk for STDs.Things like HPV, gonorrhea, syphilis, herpes, and hepatitis B can all be spread through oral sex. HIV is less likely to be transmitted through oral sex.
To protect each other from STDs, it's a good idea to use condoms for oral sex on a penis (that's what flavored condoms are made for!). And you can use Sheer Glyde dams, cut-open condoms, or plastic wrap for oral sex on a vulva.

(8). You'd know if you (or your partner) had an STD.

FALSE. Most people who have an STD never have symptoms. So just because you and your partner don't have symptoms doesn't mean you shouldn't worry about STDs.People with STDs can pass them to others, even if they feel fine. And if left untreated, some STDs can turn into really dangerous infections and even lead to permanent damage (like infertility).
The only way to know if you have an STD is to get tested — don't wait until something seems off. Getting tested for STDs is quick and easy

(9). Getting an STD is the end of the world.

FALSE. A lot of STDs (like gonorrhea and chlamydia) can be cured with simple antibiotics you get from the doctor. These curable, bacterial STDs work just like strep throat — easily fixed in a week or so with medicine.STDs that are caused by viruses — like HIV, HPV, herpes, and hepatitis — can't be cured. These viral STDs work more like the flu or mono — there's no cure, but there is treatment to help with symptoms. People with viral STDs can live long, healthy lives with the help of their doctor.

(10). If you get an STD once, you can never get it again.

FALSE. A lot of STDs can be cured with antibiotics. But once they're cured, you can get them again. So if you get treated for an STD, your partner(s) should be treated also — otherwise they could give the infection right back to you if you have sex again. And you should keep getting tested whenever you have unprotected sex or start having sex with someone new.

REVEALED : 5 types of guys girls fall in love with [MUST READ]

This one will probably steal your heart in your early 20’s, in those years when you’re trying to figure out who you are and who you want to be, and discovering your wings seems to come with a side of rebellion. You’ll think you can change him, but you can’t.

1. The First Love.
Also commonly known as “The High School Sweetheart.”This boy is the Kevin to your Winnie. The Cory to your Topanga. The Dawson to your Joey. Sweet, innocent, idealistic…this is the stuff coming-of-age movies are made of. The First Love is probably the first boy you’ll ever kiss.
(Or at least the first one you’ll kiss and feel the earth move.) He probably plays a sport and wears a letterman jacket.

2. The One That Could Have Been (But the Timing Was Always Off).
May be you met while one of you was already in a relationship. Maybe every time you started to get close, life or work or something else completely unexpected came between you. Maybe it was simply God watching out for you, because He knows the two of you burned too brightly together to ever sustain a lasting spark.
Perhaps in another lifetime you were perfect together…but not this one.

3. The Bad Boy.
This one will probably steal your heart in your early 20’s, in those years when you’re trying to figure out who you are and who you want to be, and discovering your wings seems to come with a side of rebellion. You’ll think you can change him, but you can’t. (And secretly, you won’t want to, because if you did, he’d no longer be the boy who stole your heart). He’ll make you cry as much or more as he makes you laugh. Underneath it all, you suspect he has a heart of gold…and he probably does…but it will take years and many women after you to uncover it.

4. The One That Got Away.
This boy will seem perfect…and secretly, you suspect he is. He’ll say all the right things, do all the right things, be the very picture of everything you ever imagined you wanted… except now that you have it, you question if you’re ready for that kind of perfection. And chances are, you’re not. Life knows when you’re ready. GOD knows when you’re ready.
So even though The One That Got Away offers you everything you thought you wanted, he offers nothing you KNOW you need. And what you need is more time. Time to date other boys you’ll like but won’t love. Time to not dateat all and just figure out who YOU are.Except you didn’t.

5. The One I haven’t met this one yet.
I like to think he’s a mix of the four loves that came before him. I like to think he’s sweet and steadfast like The First Love, and passionate and challenging like The One That Could Have Been, and a little wild and rough around the edges like The Bad Boy, with the heart for commitment and building a life together like The One That Got Away. I like to think he’s all of them and none of them, all at the same time. I like to think he personifies this list and also erases it…using the scattered pieces of my heart he gently reclaims from each of them as the eraser.

Buhari didn't promise to end Boko Haram insurgency in 2 months- APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described as misleading and unfounded reports that the President-elect, Maj-Gen. Buhari has pledged to end insurgency in the country within two months.

“The President-Elect is still waiting to be sworn in on May 29. After the ceremony, he would need time to study the security situation and plan strategically with the security chiefs as to the way forward.

“Time is of essence here. Therefore, President Buhari didn’t and wouldn’t peg the decimation of terrorism within two months.

“The General was unequivocal about cleansing Boko Haram from our land; he would do a good job of it by giving a final permanent push to rid Nigeria of unscrupulous elements,’’ the statement said.

The statement recalled that in Buhari’s interview with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and Cable News Network (CNN), he didn’t put a time-frame to when he would eliminate terrorism.
“It would be unfair and mischievous for someone to ascribe to him what he hasn’t said,” the statement emphasised.
