Why Jonathan lost to Buhari- Emir of Kano "Sanusi Lamido Sanusi" speaks

Emir of Kano and former CBN governor, Muhammadu Sanusi II says President Jonathan lost the Presidential election because many people were not happy with him and his PDP-led government. In an interview with Punch, the Emir said high level of poverty in the nation played a deciding factor in the voting pattern in this year's election.
He said the PDP had in previous elections consistently lost in areas that President Obasanjo had majority of votes when he contested.

"I think in 2011, it was very clear
that Jonathan had lost many states
in the North that had previously been
won by former President Olusegun   Obasanjo.
And it was clear that there was a
general sense by people of the
   Federal Government not investing
in the areas where there is a high
level of poverty. I believe more and
more of those states began to feel
that sense of not feeling the federal           presence and not feeling the impact
of democracy in their pockets.
And I think it is extremely important for people to connect with the government and when you have such conditions after 16 years of democracy, it was natural that people would want to have a change and I think this is basically what has happened. I don’t think it is something about an individual, I think it is something that has been going on for a number of years and you could see the states won by the PDP in 1999 and what they won in 2003,what they won in 2007, 2011 and you would begin to see the changes in the way Nigerians were responding so it was a matter of time.”he said

"You will perish if you fail to vote Ambode"- Oba of Lagos threatens Ndi-lgbos in Lagos

Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu has threatened Igbos in Lagos, saying any Ibo man or woman who fails to vote Lagos state APC governorship candidate, Akinwunmi Ambode as Governor in next Saturday's governorship election will die within 7 days. According to Oba Akiolu, he owns Lagos and his bidding must be done by everyone in the state.

Daily Independent reports that Oba Akiolu gave out the threat when he met with Igbo leaders resident in Lagos at his Palace yesterday April 5th.

"On Saturday, if any one of you goes against Ambode who I picked, that is your end. If it doesn’t happen within seven days, just know that I am a bastard and its not my father who gave birth to me.

By the grace of God, I am the owner of Lagos for the time being. This is an undivided chair. The palace belongs to the dead and those coming in the future.

On Saturday, if anyone of you, I swear in the name of God, goes against my wish that Ambode will be the next governor of Lagos state, the person is going to die inside this water.

For the Igbos and others in Lagos, they should go where the Oba of Lagos heads to. When they were coming to the state, they didn’t come with all their houses. But now they have properties in the state.

So they must do my bidding. And that is the bidding of the ancestors of Lagos and God. I am not ready to beg you. Nobody knew how I picked Ambode. Jimi is my blood relation and I told him that he can never be governor in Lagos for now. The future belongs to God. I am not begging anybody, but what you people cannot do in Onitsha, Aba or anywhere you can not do it here.

If you do what I want, Lagos will continue to be prosperous for you, if you go against my wish, you will perish in the water. I am for the progress, growth and development in Lagos, Ambode is highly cerebral, he’s a symbol and he is going to deliver the message which I the Oba of Lagos have said.

And he will govern the state for another eight years. He is going on a mission and God will give him the wisdom and knowledge to fulfill that mission. Almost a year ago, I declared that Ambode will be the next governor of Lagos and it will not change.

From time immemorial, the previous occupiers  of this house will say what they wanted after consultation with other people. And this hasn’t change and it will not change at this time.

MUST READ: 4 likely Places where your beauty can't save you

Don't get me wrong, everybody is beautiful but fact still remains that some are more beautiful than others.Well I believe most of the beautiful ladies would have a thing or two to say about males giving them special attention cos of their beauty.

However I've come to realize that not all men give attention to beauty and from my observations, these are my findings.

1.Crossing the road: You might want to run than catwalk while crossing the roads because those drivers ain't looking at your pretty face; because any delay in crossing can send you straight to the hospital.

2.Jumping the queue:No matter how beautiful you're can't jump a queue. Take for instance, the past election and at the various polling units, a ton of people are waiting their turns and you walk straight to the front? No, that won't work, chances is that you 'd be automatically "deployed" to the back.

3.In an exam hall: Seriously, most lecturers no dey look face. If he wants to embarrass you even with your fine face, he will.
So you better prepare ahead for that exam.

4.Law court: You are often called "fine girl no pimple",yea but that won't reduce the number of years you'd serve jail time.

Here's a Village where members share water with Goats

Vanguard recently paid a visit to Taran and Gaukaka-Lasauya communities of Bauchi State for the instance of the leadership of WaterAid Nigeria, a civil society organisation, CSO, and it was discovered that in these rural communities were men, pregnant women, youth and children whose appearance evoked sympathy.

According to the report, in Taran community, there was only one source of water for the villagers and animals to drink from. For the villagers, it’s a choice-less situation; it’s the only way of staying alive; it didn’t matter if water borne diseases become their constant ailment.

“We drink water from the same source with our goats.

When we get to the stream to fetch water and discover that goats have come ahead of us to drink, what we do is to fetch the surface that we believe the mouths of the goats touched and pour it away, then proceed to fetch our own,” said Rahal Bitrus, one of the women in Taran.

“We don’t have any other source of water. We just reduce the surface and fetch our drinking water even though we know there are consequences, but we are left with no option.

The water sometimes gives us and our children diarrhea and typhoid fever and very painful urine, but we still go ahead and drink it to stay alive.

We trek about nine kilometers to get to the river to fetch the water we are talking about, and, of course, it is affecting our lives, economy and even our children’s education.

This lack of water affects our economy in the sense that we have to look for water before going to the market and, by the time you go and come back, on getting to the market, some transactions would have been made which you must have missed and sometimes we end up not going to the market because we must have been late and prospective customers gone home.”

If you as much as drink tap water in your house, be grateful.

I've been Caged for 16 good years,I think I've had enough- GEJ

President Goodluck Jonathan on Sunday looked back at his years of service from being the deputy governor of his home state, Bayelsa, to when he became the country’s President and said, “I think it is enough.”

Jonathan spoke while receiving residents of the Federal Capital Territory who were led by Vice President Namadi Sambo to pay him Easter homage at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. The President said he had no doubt that he is the luckiest Nigerian.

He said, “For me as an individual, this Easter coincides with the time I am leaving but I always say that I am one of the luckiest Nigerians. I am yet to see somebody luckier than me.

“From 1999, I was in the hands of government for 16 years. Not just in government as a parliamentarian because if you are a Senator or House of Representatives member, you take care of yourself, you live in your own house.

“I was in a cage, being taken care of by the government. From May 29, 1999 to date; 16 good years. I think it is enough and I am happy, help me to thank God for that.

“I will continue to thank Nigerians for giving me that privilege. I became a deputy governor because Bayelsans voted for me and my governor then. I became a Vice President because Nigerians voted for Yar’Adua and myself.
“I continued in 2011 because Nigerians voted for me and Architect Namadi Sambo. I have to thank all Nigerians. Wherever I will be, I will remain grateful to this great country. Today is a glorious day for me.”

Jonathan said Easter, being a period of sacrifice,Nigerians should be ready to make sacrifice for the survival of the government irrespective of who is the President at a given time.
He said even since his days as deputy governor in his home state, he kept telling people that what he needed from them was patriotism and not loyalty.

He said nation building depends on sacrifice and patriotism.

He cited the examples of soldiers and policemen who he said were dying daily in their fight against Boko Haram in order for others to live.

We regret Appointing Fani-Kayode as President Jonathan Campaign Manager- PDP

Ben Onyechere spoke unwell of Mr Femi Fani-Kayode During a live program on Channels TV, after the presenter put Mr Ben Onyechere, a member of PDP on phone in discussing what is next for PDP.

During the interview, the presenter asked Mr Onyechere if PDP would be able to be a strong opposition party against APC government after May 29 as President Jonathan has accepted defeat.

In response to the question, he said it was the party’s mistakes that caused them the loss. He went on to say that someone like Fani-Kayode shouldn’t have been appointed as Chairman of President Jonathan’s Media and Publicity campaign team.

Mr Onyechere condemned Fani-Kayode’s approaches before the election, stressing that he went too far in attacking and abusing General Muhammadu Buhari, and this cost them a lot. Fani-kayode was using the bad experience he had while in APC to campaign and it damaged a lot and you don’t expect to win such election.

The angry Mr. Onyechere further said that even the chairman of the party Adamu Mu’azu should be discharge of his position for losing presidential election in his state.

In all, there are many politicians who failed Jonathan, some by mistake but a lot of them intentionally.

MUST READ: 6 ways Men are unknowingly killing their Sperm

More and more men are finding it hard to produce these days. It is not that they are not sweating enough, or that they are "unhealthy", but something is wrong.
Though other factors contribute, damaged sperm is a major reason for many a couple's infertility issues.
In many cases, the man's weapon may be the reason for losing the childbearing war...
Researchers have shown that a man’s lifestyle can affect the quality and quantity of his sperm, hence fertility issues.

Anyway, here are some ways men unwittingly cause the damage:

1. Always carrying a phone in the front pocket:- Studies have shown that there is the radiation a mobile phone emits so close to the scrotal area causes as much a 9% drop in live sperm per Fluid sample. So it better to hold the phone or carry it in a case or, at worse, the back pocket.

2. Leaving stress unattended to:- A man who is always stressed, maybe due to overworking, is inadvertently killing his swimmers. Every body function, including sperm production, is affected by stress. Researchers found out that men with anxiety issues tend to have abnormally shaped sperm and sperm with mobility issues. Now, an immobile sperm is useless because they have to swim far to marry an egg fr conception.

3. Drinking too much:- Alcohol is a big enemy of sperm. In fact, the British Medical Journal suggests that having as little as five drinks (alcohol) weekly can 'adversely affect' to Fluid quality.

4. Smoking too much:- Blowing the smoke always has a negative impact on sperm quality. However, a researcher says, once a man quits, his system immediately starts generating healthier sperm.

5. Piling up extra weight:- Being fit has a lot of advantages. Being fat lowers sperm production and can cause erectile dysfunction (ED) or impotence? Losing just a little amount of weight can help.

6. Staying too much in hot areas:- Being exposed to too much heat regularly has dire consequences for a man's sperm. A welder for example might be at risk. A man's genital region needs to be cooler than the other parts of the body, not hotter.

If you have hopes of getting a child in the future, now might be a time to be conscious of your lifestyle, instead of worrying later.

Alcohol, fat, smoking, stress and all the other factors must be monitored.

I dialled Bidemi's number for 15 times (hoping that she won't pick) then dialled Kikelomo's number 5 times. They dint pick as I expected but I just prayed that they won't escalate the issue than how it already is.
