Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, took the oath of office for a second term in office on Friday, with a pledge to be a governor for all residents irrespective of their interests.
The governor arrived the stadium in company of his family, took the was sworn in at 12:33pm. The oath was administered by the state’s Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Ladipo Abimbola.
Ajimobi expressed his gratitude to God and voters for giving him the opportunity to be the first governor to break the jinx. He added that his victory was a call to re-dedicate himself to the people of the state.
